Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru Les Vergelesses blanc (Pack de 2 bouteilles)

This great wine comes in a pack of 3 bottles.

Pleasantly overwhelming. Light yellow shade does not betray it... 

The noise evolves from brown butter and coarse oak wood through what I imagine quince ice cream would be like (not sorbet!), baked apple and candied orange peel to delicate, light honey (such as rapeseed). In the mouth it's so mineral it's spicy. Even abrasive. Full bodied, quite a long finish, extremely drying. Great pairing with greasy, creamy food - such as for us, arancini with Alfredo chicken filling.
