This great wine comes in a Pack of 6 bottles.
An orange Burgundy made from the oft-maligned Aligoté. From vines planted in 1954 on clayey limestone. Fermented+aged 2/3 in vats 1/3 in 228l barriques on the skins.
Nose: resin+pickled daikon VA. Hints of cinnamon+funky barnyard.
Palate: quite focused with acidity but with brooding weight of tropical pineapple + cantelope melon. Cidre + lemon finish. Needs air! Organic.
